Diversity: The Next Generation – Saturday April 19, 2008

This diversity summit will provide a forum for attendees to exchange ideas on how young lawyers can ensure that the profession reflects the society that it serves and fosters an environment of inclusion.

The feedback from the discussions will provide the base for initiatives such as:

  • Articulating next steps and long-term goals for the ABA YLD, the national voice of young lawyers. Such steps may include drafting resolutions for the YLD Assembly, which sets policy for the Division
  • An On-Line Toolkit containing links to member resources and research materials regarding concerns and solutions raised at the summit
  • A white paper which captures the issues, ideas, and solutions voiced by the summit attendees
  • A vignette-driven diversity training manual which will explore solutions discussed at the summit

Contribute to YLD Diversity Efforts: Share your story now.

For more information visit the Diversity: The Next Generation web page.

More diversity resources are available on the YLD Diversity web page.
