2007 Spring Conference
For Affiliates
Partial Travel Funding for Affiliate Leaders
To assist young lawyer affiliates in attending the conference,
the YLD provides a $200 USD travel reimbursement ($100 USD a day for two
days) to three members of each young lawyer affiliate; a fourth member
is funded if the member is a minority, solo/small firm, government,
public sector or military lawyer.
Specific program attendance is required to receive this reimbursement. Please see the ABA YLD's reimbursement policy for full details.
On-Site Affiliate Assistance Visits
The ABA YLD Affiliate Assistance Team will be
available in Montréal to meet with and assist
leaders of local, state and international young
lawyer organizations.
These visits will take place on Friday, May 4th from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. (Anjou Room) and Saturday, May 5th from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Alfred Rouleau A Room).
The Affiliate Assistance Team can provide assistance on a broad range of topics, including long range planning, project development, membership recruitment, fundraising, and diversity initiatives.
