Leadership: Getting the Most Out of Your Legal Career What do you really want out of your career? What is important to you? This workshop focuses on how to get the most out of your legal career. Job satisfaction is a key factor in firm retention rates. For young women lawyers, it is important to evaluate your needs/desires and make changes before you reach the “burnout phase.” A diagnostic tool will be sent out to early registrants prior to the conference. Career coach will lead discussion and review. CLE Breakout Sessions This program will center on creating and implementing strategic plans at your firm. Speakers will offer specific suggestions on strategic planning for women at any size firm, in any practice area. The program provides practical advice on implementing your strategic plan, as well as how to monitor your progress so the firm remains on track with your vision.
What exactly is a law firm Women's Initiative and what does it do? This program will focus on two main components of women's initiatives: (1) specifically how they can be formed and what they realistically do and (2) ways in which women can improve interaction with each other and develop the skills necessary to form a collective voice. |
