How do I join the Commission?
The Commission on Women in the Profession is comprised of twelve members appointed by the ABA President. Candidates should seek nomination by their ABA entity executive committees.
How do I get involved with Commission activities?
One liaison is appointed from each ABA entity to serve as a representative. Interested parties should seek nominations by their entity chair.
What are some of the Commission projects?
The Commission has numerous projects:

- Breast Cancer Legal Advocacy Initiative
- Oral Histories of Women Trailblazers in the Law
The Commission publishes a wide range of publications and reports, as well as Perspectives, its quarterly magazine for and about women lawyers.

The ABA Law Student Division lists both ABA and non-ABA resources for researching scholarships. You also can contact minority bar associations and the state and local bars where you are from or plan to go to school.
