The ABA has a longstanding commitment to ensuring the fairness and accessibility of America's electoral system. As the ABA joins with Freedom's Answer to promote record-breaking turnout in this election year, here's what you can do to support this initiative.
- Educate students on their right to vote.

rights and responsibilities cards.
The ABA Section of Dispute Resolution
has offered its services of to help ensure non-partisan implementation
of the Freedom's Answer initiative by recruiting highly skilled
volunteer mediators to help resolve any disputes that may arise
in connection with voter registration efforts. Requests for mediation
will be initiated by Freedom's Answer staff, and will be coordinated
through the Washington, DC office of the Section of Dispute Resolution.
The Grassroots Legislative Action Center of the ABA's Governmental
Affairs Office is providing current and comprehensive information
on this year's federal election on its Election
2004 website. Review candidates' positions on the issues,
track the "hot" races nationwide, register to vote, and more.
