Greetings, Colleagues,
I am the Chair of this Standing Committee of the Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section. TIPS continues to seek to
diversify its membership and leadership and our Committee has been instrumental in finding more diverse attorneys to
participate in TIPS activities. However, we need your help in meeting our goal to recruit, involve and retain more
diverse members to the Section. If you are a diverse attorney or know a diverse attorney who might be interested in TIPS, please contact us. We can help you get more involved with the Section. We have many opportunities for you to publish, speak and network with your colleagues from all over the nation. We are looking for you right now, so speak up.
Working with the TIPS leadership, our Committee has reached out to other diverse bar
associations and we have expanded our outreach efforts to many other organizations. This has allowed us to participate
in programs at national meetings for our Section and with other organizations. These opportunities are there for all
TIPS attorneys as our Section reaches out to all attorneys of any color, race and gender. Come join us in TIPS. You
will see that not only are TIPS attorneys some of the best attorneys in the country, but they are some of the best people
you will ever meet in the profession.
Please join us and help us ensure the ABA mirrors the population of our diverse nation and
the clients we serve.
