Letter From the Chair
Greetings Colleagues:
I am extremely honored to serve as Chair for 2009-2010! I would like to begin by extending my sincere
gratitude to our outgoing Chair Arnold Mascali for his leadership and work over the past year. I truly
have big shoes to fill. I am also pleased to announce the appointment of James Tortorella as Chair-Elect,
and Christopher Westrick as Newsletter Editor. They have already gotten off to a great start.
I am excited to report that our committee received a favorable rating from the Section’s Scope & Correlation Committee at the ABA Annual Meeting in Chicago. This is a noteworthy accomplishment that was made possible by the hard work and commitment of many.
My goal this year is to build on the work of past chairs in increasing communication among existing committee members. We will also continue to look for opportunities to sponsor quality educational programming on cutting edge topics. In that regard, we will be co-sponsoring several CLE programs in 2010 currently being planned by the Insurance Coverage Litigation and Business Law Committees.
As you can see we have an exciting year ahead! Feel free to contact me if you have
