This special one-day program addresses the unexplored and underdeveloped topic of making the litigation process more accessible for the elderly and persons with disabilities. Taking place at the William R. Eleazer Courtroom at Stetson University College of Law, a one-of-a-kind model courtroom showcasing how design and technology can address accessibility issues for individuals with disabilities and the elderly, this program focuses on courtroom design, the use of service animals, jury selection and access for jurors, parties, attorneys and judges. In addition, this program features a myriad of top-notch speakers who are leaders and experts in the field.
