The Young Professionals is a subcommittee of the FSLC Membership Division. The Mission of the FSLC Young Professionals is to provide leadership in serving the public and the profession in areas related to the practice of Fidelity and Surety law. The Subcommittee is dedicated to increasing the involvement of Young Professionals, especially women and minorities, in the programming, publications, and activities of the FSLC at large. The Subcommittee is committed to developing active participation at the state, regional and national level, and will encourage and support regional and state efforts for continuing legal education, discussion, and development of Fidelity and Surety law. The Subcommittee will provide opportunities for members to exchange ideas and to develop contacts with fellow young lawyers and young company professionals on a social level, as well as a professional level.

For the purposes of the Subcommittee, "young" is defined as one who is age forty or younger. To be a Young Professionals member, you need to be:

1) a member of the American Bar Association,

2) a member of the Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section,

3) a member of the Fidelity and Surety Law Committee, and

4) forty years old or younger, or in your first three years of practice.
