Programs/Upcoming Meetings

On Friday, August 5, 2005 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, ESLR will be co-sponsoring an Annual Meeting Program with the Corporate Counsel, Self-Insurers Risk Managers, and Insurance Coverage Litigation Committees entitled "Effective Solutions to Common Insurance-Related Transactional Issues."

On Saturday, August 6 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, ESLR will be co-sponsoring another program entitled "Why Do Insurers Sue Each Other and What Happens When They Do? Inter-Carrier Disputes Theory and Practice."

On Saturday, August 6, at 7:30 a.m., the ESLR Business Meeting will take place. Here's your chance to get up early and volunteer to be an ESLR leader.

Finally, on Saturday, August 6, the annual Joint TIPS Committee Dinner, featuring members, friends, and significant others of the following TIPS Committees: ESLR, Insurance Coverage, Corporate Counsel, Self-Insurers & Risk Managers, Property Insurance, Insurance Regulation, Products Liability, Business Litigation, and Professionals', Officers' & Directors' Liability. The dinner will be held at a rather unique and exciting venue: the Kendall College Culinary School Dining Room at 900 N. North Branch St. Cocktails are at 6:30 p.m., dinner is at 7:30 p.m.

To attend the dinner, send a check made payable to "Kendall College" in the amount of $85.00 per person to Jill Berkeley at Schiff Hardin LLP, 6600 Sears Tower, Chicago, IL 60606 no later than July 29, 2005. Please indicate your choice of salmon, beef, or vegetarian main course.

For enrollment in a committee of the Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section, simply fill out the on-line committee application form.

Please note:  If you are already a Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section member, you may join up to three (3) committees at no additional cost. However, if you are not a Section member, you must join the Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section first.
