EMPLOYEE BENEFITS COMMITTEE
- Message from the Chair-

Jonathon G. Rose - Committee Chair
Jonathon G. Rose - Committee Chair

The Employee Benefits Committee co-chaired the 34th Annual TIPS Midwinter Symposium on Insurance, Employment and Benefits in Fort Lauderdale, January 17-20. Our Committee sponsoredan extremely well attended breakout session, ERISA Update — Practice and Procedure, and co-sponsored a program on EPLI and Fiduciary Coverage Issues. I would like to thank Teresa Renaker (Lewis, Feinberg, Renaker & Jackson), Horace Green (Humbert & Green), Doug Hinson (Alston & Bird)and Jessica Lermond (AIG Insurance) for being speakers on the two panels.

I would also like to encourage any Committee member who has not previously been active in the work of the Committee to contact me if you have any interest in getting more involved. There are many ways that you can get more active, including assisting with speaking at CLE events and various writing opportunities. In addition, please let me know if you have any ideas on how the Committee could better assist your practice — we are always interested in finding ways to improve the Committee’s services.
Sincerely,
Jonathon G. Rose
