We invite you to surf the entire Emerging Issue website.
We also invite you to submit what you see as an emerging legal or law practice issue. Please send an email to Janet S. Kloenhamer
.

The Emerging Issues Committee is the Leading Edge of the Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section. Our role is to look into the future to identify issues that will impact Tort Trial & Insurance Law and Practice. Additionally, our charter is to propose proactive efforts TIPS might undertake to help its members, the ABA, and the Profession as a whole:

  • develop awareness of the issues and their significance, become educated in the substantive aspects of the issues work to modify the nature and extent of potential changes to be more consistent with policies and goals of TIPS, ABA and
  • prepare to cope with or take advantage of resulting changes in Tort Trial Insurance Law or Practice.

To achieve these goals, we may, among other things, propose Council action, propose programs, conferences or institutes and work with other committees and organizations in TIPS, the ABA and elsewhere on implementation of these proposals.
But we need your help, whether or not you are a TIPS or ABA member, whether or not you are a lawyer.
