Message From The Chair

Dear Committee Members:

We are starting into Fall once again, and looking forward to our Fall Meeting in Washington, DC. This year should prove to be a particularly interesting meeting as the last 12 months have have been witness to a multitude of changes in the insurance market and in private practice. Given all the recent changes, TIPs and its associated services are becoming all the more relevant as a means to keep up with the shifting landscape.

Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section Law Journal, available to TIPs members, is the best way to keep current on emerging issues in the tort and insurance field. The Journal provides the most complete resource available for the TIPs attorney, and while we all benefit from it, we must be mindful that we are also its source. The Journal is always looking for articles on new or developing areas, and we encourage you to participate by suggesting and submitting articles.

Our Committee's annual Fall conference will be held October 26 and 27 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Downtown Washington DC. Please make plans to attend!

Hope you have all had a wonderful summer, and are having a productive beginning to your Fall.

Please note:  If you are already a Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section member, you may join up to three (3) committees at no additional cost. However, if you are not a Section member, you must join the Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section first.
