The Appellate Advocacy Committee is of interest
to all appellate practitioners. Appellate judges and lawyers come together for discussion on a wide
variety of substantive and procedural issues.
The Appellate Advocacy Committee is in the process of upgrading the web-page to include references to the various
appellate practice rules for each jurisdiction and also significant secondary authorities (such as continuing legal
education materials, treatises, detailed articles, etc) which can then be made available to the members via the
web-page. Please drop a note to Brad Elward, at belward@hrva.com with citations to your particular appellate
practice rules as well as any authorities you believe would serve well for consultation should questions arise
