The Admiralty and Maritime Law Committee of the American Bar Association Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section brings together plaintiffs' attorneys, defense attorneys and insurance industry counsel for the exchange of information and ideas. The Admiralty and Maritime Law Committee strives to serve as the primary resource for admiralty and maritime law tort and insurance practice education and knowledge. The Admiralty and Maritime Law Committee also encourages its membership to uphold the tenets of the American Bar Association: Defending liberty and pursuing justice. The Admiralty and Maritime Law Committee also encourages diversity of membership and promotes professionalism in our chosen field.

For enrollment in a committee of the Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section, simply fill out the on-line committee application form.

Please note:  If you are already a Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section member, you may join up to three (3) committees at no additional cost. However, if you are not a Section member, you must join the Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section first.
