On January 7th, Alan Heuss was sitting in his car at night with the engine running when a man with a gun approached him and took his car, cell phone, and some cash. Heuss and his friends filed a police report and then came up with their own scheme to outsmart the carjackers. His friends suggested they try to contact the carjackers via Huess’s stolen cell phone. They sent text messages saying that they had “hot chicks and drugs,” with an address to report to. Stupidly, the carjackers went to the address in the stolen car and were met by police.
