Section Student Writing Contest - A Chance for Prizes and Fame!

The ABA Section of Science & Technology Law is pleased to present it's Second Annual Law Student Writing Contest.  The contest is designed to encourage law students to write on subjects related to science and technology law and encourage a cutting edge view or innovative take on the topic.

The theme for the 2009 contest is being confirmed. Ruben Rodrigues of the University of Chicago Law School won the Law Student Writing Contest for his submission: You've Been Poked: Privacy in the Era of Facebook. Justin Lee of Loyola Law School, Los Angeles is recognized for his "honorable mention" submission: The Reasonable Expectation of Invasion.

The winner received a trip to the ABA Annual Meeting in New York City and will have his or her submission published in The SciTech Lawyer.

Full contest rules and submission criteria can be found on the Section’s website at www.abanet.org/scitech/studentwriting.html.
