Has the Earth Stopped Shaking?
The State of the Commercial Financing Markets
Since the Subprime Meltdown
Date: Friday, May 2, 2008 - 1:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
The commercial real estate financing markets are in an upheaval, with the aftermath of the subprime meltdown working its way through the system. How have the CMBS, CDO and traditional lending markets adjusted? How have property values and deal structures been affected? The panelists, representing both business and legal perspectives, will provide an update on the implications of the turmoil in the financing markets on the components of the capital stack, covering securitized and traditional loans, mortgage and mezzanine products. The discussion will cover changes in underwriting and deal terms, and how loan documents reflect those features.
