ABA RPPT B-4 Pro Bono Committee Seeking Additional Members!

The ABA RPPT B-4 Pro Bono Committee is a new committee established this year. Its basis was the Community Responsive Pro Bono Practice Subcommittee (B-1), established in 1999, which initiated and managed the Section's project with Habitat for Humanity. The project has been very successful providing the services of hundreds of Section volunteers to HFH affiliates throughout the United States. The new Pro Bono Committee, while continuing to coordinate the HFH project, has been asked and is ready to take on new challenges such as community education on real estate issues including predatory lending and landlord-tenant relationships, becoming involved with community projects with real estate concerns such as People Advocating Therapeutic Homes, Inc.(PATH) and contributing from a real estate perspective to civic programs benefitting our communities. Please bring your ideas and energy for community service to the Section's Pro Bono Committee!

If you would like to volunteer to work with the Committee's Habitat for Humanity project please complete and return the form on the B-4 Pro Bono Committee website where you can also find the Committee's mission statement.

If you would like to become a B-4 Pro Bono Committee member to work on other real estate related projects please contact Carol Ann Martinelli, Chairperson at cmart26@attglobal.net.

Thank you!
