Join Us In New York
RPPT 2003 Spring Symposia

The Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section's Spring Symposium will be held at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City on April 2-4, 2003. Extensive CLE programming for both the Real Property Division and the Probate/Trust Division has been scheduled, and we are sure you will find this to be an educational and entertaining set of programs. If you have not already registered for the Symposium, you can do so online (and check out the program schedule) at: the Symposia Web Page. In addition, the Section has scheduled a major reception for Thursday night, and this is always a good time to mingle and network with other Section members and staff.

New Staff Members

The Section has two new staff members, both of whom you will meet at the Spring Symposium. Denise M. Kuminski (kuminskd@staff.abanet.org) joins us as our Meeting and CLE Manager. Denise comes to us after a stint as a consultant with the Litigation Section and may be reached at 312/988-5263. Lisa Allen (allenl@staff.abanet.org) is our new Committee and Meeting Coordinator and comes to us from the Section of State and Local Government Law. She can be reached at 312/988-5651.

Don't Miss This:

We particularly want to draw your attention to the minority outreach program "Sharpening Your Basic Commercial Real Estate Skills" run by Manny Halper preceding the Symposium in New York City on Wednesday afternoon, April 2, 2003. This is one of the most important and successful outreach programs run by the Section, and all Section Members are invited to attend (space permitting). We also hope you will join in the free "first time attendee" and "welcoming" receptions being held immediately following the program and allow the participants to meet and talk with as many of our Dirt lawyers as they can in order to get a better feel for and appreciation of the quality and breadth of our members and the benefits they can obtain by participating in RPPT. Check out the details on the Symposium web page.
