Terrorism
Risk Insurance -- Highlights and Warnings"
This article from Brook Boyd
(BrookBoyd@aol.com)
discusses the recently released (December 3,
2002) Treasury Interim Guidance (available at
www.treas.gov/trip)
regarding the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act,
Pub. Law 107-297, effective November 26, 2002
(the "Act"). It is important that
owners, lenders and investors be aware of the
new procedures in order to avoid the inadvertent
waiver of rights to which they might otherwise
be entitled. You can find the new statute at
http://thomas.loc.gov.
