Attend The Spring Meeting!

Attend the Spring Meeting

2002 Spring Symposium:
The Spring Symposium is coming to San Francisco (April 25-26, 2002). There will be a wide variety of great programs for you to attend [link to brochure]. In addition to committee meetings and a wine tour of Napa and Sonoma counties, you will have to choose among 42 CLE programs. Five of the 17 RP Division programs are sponsored by the I Group, including the Eight Annual Mortgage Financing Program, while the B, H, K and M Groups have two programs each and other Groups have created some intriguing programs. The two Section divisions have also collaborated to sponsor a timely program on the creation and use of conservation easements, focusing on urban and conservation values as well as the very significant income and estate tax implications of these instruments.

The Hot Tips luncheon will include a discussion and "virtual tour" of the Presidio Project, an ambitious re-use project combining residential, office, cultural and recreational uses within the confines of the former military facility.

William H. Gates Sr. will be the featured speaker at the Section Luncheon, while the B-2 Committee will wrap up the symposium with a discussion of where the ABA House of Delegates is going with proposed changes in the Model Rules of Professional Conduct - a topic every transaction attorney will want to hear about.

And don't forget the tremendous number of restaurants, museums and other opportunities for fun and entertainment throughout the San Francisco Bay area where we can socialize and network with our colleagues and friends from across the Section.

Everyone connected with the development of this Symposium, from the Section leadership and staff to your fellow practitioners, has worked very hard on putting together the best program possible, and we all hope you will come and participate this April. Sign up before March 27, 2002 for an early registration discount either online (Click Here for Online Registration) or print and fax the form located here.
