I think you will be interested in AALU's just released proposals on estate tax relief, which are attached. These thoughtful reform proposals are offered as a realistic alternative to the more drastic repeal proposals, with their uncertain future effects. In view of the present confusing political climate, it is felt that the certainty and immediacy of the relief proposals are in the best interests of our clients, as well as of the estate planning community. I am pleased to serve on the special AALU committee that helped to develop these proposals.
