TASK FORCES

Task Forces are created for specific initiatives by the Section Council or Executive Committee. The RPTE Section currently has five operational task forces.

American Indian Probate Reform Act

Educates lawyers and persons holding trust property on issues raised by the American Indian Probate Reform Act.

Property Preservation Task Force

Identifies the scope of issues and possible solutions to the loss of tenancy in common property throughout the United States.

Task Force on Real Property Law School Curriculum

Researches and impacts real property law school curriculum throughout the United States.

Task Force on USA Patriot Act

Identifies regulation issues surrounding the USA Patriot Act, which was enacted after September 11, 2001.

Special Committee on In-House Counsel

Works with Section committees to design programs and arrange for articles that are of particular interest to in-house counsel, and otherwise to promote opportunities for participation by in-house counsel in Section activities.
