StC on Election Law

The ABA Standing Committee on Election Law has developed
a Voter Rights and Responsibilities card to provide voters
with critical information that every voter should know before casting a ballot.

In commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the events that led to the
Voting Rights Act of 1965, the American Bar Association is partnering with
the Law Student Division of the University of Alabama Law School
in order to highlight the importance of exercising our democratic
responsibility to vote.

The ABA has long supported efforts to improve our elections, ensure our citizen's access to the ballot box, and educate Americans on our rights and responsibilities as voters. Whether you're a lawyer, a student, a teacher, or a voter, we hope the resources offered on these pages will give you the information you need to get out the vote this November.
