2. Take a survey. Would people be willing to spend tax dollars to help juvenile asylum
seekers? Why or why not?
3. Do you think a child Elians age should be able to ask for asylum? If not, how
old do you think a child must be to seek asylum? Explain your answer.
4. Get involved in the first World Refugee Day. The United Nations General Assembly has
selected June 20, 2001, as a day for people all over the world to recognize the plight of
