ABA National Online Youth Summit, Fall 1999 Poll

After City of Chicago v. Morales: If Youth "Hang Out" on the Street, Are They Breaking the Law?

Student Polls

Following are the results of the pre-test and post-test we asked our online summit participants to take in October (before delving into the Morales case) and in December (after studying the case). The tests covered issues related to the case.

About the Results

These results represent a diverse group of students from the Pacific Northwest to the East Coast, and include schools in the Midwest, South, and West, as well. Students of varying economic, racial and ethnic backgrounds in urban, rural, and suburban settings participated. To find out which schools participated, check out the Pilot Classrooms section.

A total of 50 high school groups with nearly 1,500 students participated.
