| Statement of Intellectual Structure: |
| "The Charter of the Center for Legal Studies sets forth three
objectives: to promote interdisciplinary communication and collaboration among faculty
members at Wayne State University who share research and teaching interests in law and
law-related fields; to encourage and facilitate interdisciplinary research on topics
related to the law; and to promote and enhance opportunities for the interdisciplinary
study of law, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels." |

| Program Curricular Organization: |
More than 60 courses are available from over 20 different
disciplines. Students must take at least three courses from a core group including
Criminal Justice, Economics, History, Philosophy, Political Science and Sociology. |
