Statement of Intellectual Structure:
"The Legal Studies Program provides students with a broad understanding of basic principles of law and the role and function of the legal system. Two emphases are provided: legal-applied and legal-general. . .. The general law emphasis program is designed to provide a general background in American society and government as well as American law."
Program Curricular Organization: A minimum of eleven courses, including five required courses within the department, and additional electives from within and outside of the department.
