| Statement of Intellectual Structure: |
| "The interdisciplinary minor in socio-legal studies (SLS) is
intended for students who have an interest in law and social control and a major in one of
the social and behavioral science departments, interdisciplinary programs, or humanities
departments. It emphasizes the interrelationships among social values, social control
processes, bureaucracies, and legal institutions. It will be useful to students planning a
career in public policy, law, legal services, rural development studies, and urban
affairs." |
