| Statement of Intellectual Structure: |
| "The major in justice studies Program is an interdisciplinary
program designed to provide a broad academic foundation and to prepare students for entry
into careers in law, law enforcement, court administration, and corrections. The program
also prepares students for graduate study in law or criminal justice. The program examines
law and the criminal justice system from institutional, administrative, behavioral and
philosophical perspectives and encourages students to develop strong analytical and
communication skills." |
