Program Status: The School of Justice Studies was established in 1972. In Fall, 1994, 850 undergraduate students enrolled.
Statement of Intellectual Structure:
"The School of Justice Studies is an academic department established to encourage and promote the interdisciplinary understanding of justice from a social science and philosophical perspective. The School focuses on several components of justice studies, including theories of justice, social and economic justice, criminal justice and justice for youth, women and minority populations, with an emphasis on American Indian justice issues."
Program Curricular Organization: Seventeen courses required for the major, including three required courses, a variety of electives, and five courses for a related field or minor.
