ABA Division for Public Education: Legal Studies Program Directory

Legal Studies Program Directory

This online directory contains a description of undergraduate programs focusing on law and the liberal arts at over 60 colleges and universities across the United States and Canada. "Legal Studies" and "Law and Society" are generic names for interdisciplinary programs grounded in the liberal arts.

The directory provides a statement of the program's purpose, a description of organizational structure and curricular organization, and a listing of required and elective courses and experiential/service learning components. For each college, you can find the name of the current program director, and his/her mailing address, telephone number, and e-mail address. Links to the program’s home pages, where available, are also provided.

The ABA's Division for Public Education supports current programs and encourages the development of new undergraduate programs through conferences and symposia, publications, information clearinghouse services, and on-campus consultations. For further information, contact abapubed@abanet.org.
