1999-2000 Term

The New York Times' Linda Greenhouse called it "a Supreme Court term of surpassing interest, rich in symbol and substance.” It was that, and for the secondary-school community especially, the 1999-2000 term was packed with questions of surpassing importance to many young people involving parental rights as well as those guaranteed by the First, Fourth, and Fifth Amendments.
