Oliver High School - Pittsburgh, PA
Class: Law and Public Service 3

We are students from Oliver High School who are enrolled in Law and Public Service 3. This year we are studying constitutional law. Oliver is a big school with over 1,000 students. Our school colors are orange and brown, and our mascot is a bear. The boys basketball team is in first place in the city league and the girls are in third place. We have the best band in the city and the football team is pretty good also. We are located on the northside of Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh is famous for its many good hospitals. At night, the city is beautiful and exciting. There are many famous people from Pittsburgh like Roberto Clemente, Dan Marino, Joe Montana, Andrew Carnegie, Andrew Mellon, Christina Aguilera (singer), Kurt Angle (wrestler), and many more. There is also a big waterfront which is located in Homestead, PA. It has a shopping center, houses, movie theaters, and restaurants. Pittsburgh also has plenty of good colleges like University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University, Penn State, Robert Morris, Chatham College, Carlow College and Duquesne University. One of our favorite places to go for fun is Kennywood Amusement Park and Sandcastle Water Park. We have three professional sports teams in Pittsburgh. They are the Pirates (baseball), Steelers (football), and Penguins (hockey).
