Hinsdale Central High School is located in the Village Hinsdale about 17 miles west of Chicago. The area is a suburban residential area of approximately 35,000 people. Students live in the villages of Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills, Oak Brook, & portions of Burr Ridge, Willowbrook and Westmont. The population predominantly works in a professional, executive or managerial position.

The enrollment of Hinsdale Central High School is 2400 people. Predominantly caucasian students (92%) with diverse minorities making up the other student population.

Other facts—over 98% of Central's students complete high school with 86% pursuing a four year college education, 12% continuing at a two year college with the remaining 2% entering other opportunities. Hinsdale Central High School is a member of the North Central Association, The College Board & NACAC/IACAC. Hindale Central is ranked as the number four high school in the state academically.

The students of Mr. Walsh's Business Law II course hope to learn to communicate freely regarding topics with other students outside of their own towns. Also to gain more intimate & professional knowledge of criminal law & the many ways in which it affects our society.
