Conrad Weiser High School - Robesonia, PA
Class: U.S. History II Honors
This is Miss Schmidt's tenth and eleventh grade second block class of U.S. History II Honors. Conrad Weiser Area School District is located in Robesonia, PA, a small suburban town about an hour and a half from Philadelphia. Our school consists approximately of 850 students from mainly 60% small towns and 40% rural areas. The main industries in the area are manufacturing, educational services, medical services, and social services. The ethnicity of Conrad Weiser is 94% white and 6% other. Even though our school is fairly small, our standardized tests can be compared to other schools of our size. The average scores on the verbal section of the SATs from our school are 510, while our mathematic scores average at a
bout 480. Our school has done well in sports this year too. Our basketball teams have had great seasons and both the boys and girls teams are headed to districts with high hopes of going to states.
Our class is looking forward to talking with you and hopefully gain more knowledge and insight about the first amendment and the issue of censorship through this experience.
