Participants
Zephyrhills High School - Zephyrhills, FL
Class: Comprehensive Law Studies

We are Mrs. Brendle's Comprehensive Law Studies Class at Zephyrhills High School in Zephyrhills, Florida. Our class consists of students from grades 10-12 with the majority being sophomores. ZHS is a public school of 1289 students in grades 9-12. Our student population is 90% white, 6% Hispanic, 3% African-American, and 1% other. We are very proud of the fact that we have won the District Sportsmanship Award for the last four years. Our school is divided into three learning communities. Each community has a focus - ours is the HELPS Learning Community (Health, Education, Law and Public Service). Every student and teacher chose the community they wanted to be a member of and can change from year to year if their interests change.

Zephyrhills is a semi-rural community approximately 25 miles northeast of Tampa and 50 miles from the Gulf of Mexico beaches in West Central Florida. We have a year round population of about 17,000 people which grows to about 80,000 people in the winter months. Zephyrhills is known for Zephyrhills Spring Water, eggs and skydiving. We are a family and community oriented city and take great pride in living here.
