Spring 2001: Does Capital Punishment Have a Future?

We are Mrs. Sparks' AP Government class at Sam Rayburn High School. Pasadena is known for its oil refineries as it is close to the Houston Ship Channel, but the area has great economic diversity. We have 2480 students at our school. Our population is 51% White, 44% Hispanic, 2% Asian, 2% African American, and 1% American Indian. Our mascot is the Texan, and we call him Sam.
