The Law Academy is a small learning community (SLC) in Furness High School, of the Philadelphia School District. Students who have an interest in Law, Criminal Justice, and/or Public Administration, apply to this school within a school.

About 140 students attend the Law Academy, Grades 9-12, in a school with a total population of 1250. Mrs. Joella Dougherty is the SLC coordinator, who together with the Academy board of directors, and the district administrator, try to offer courses, and career experiences/choices, to our students.
