Spring 2001: Does Capital Punishment Have a Future? Participants Cholla High Magnet School - Tucson, AZ Class: GATE English/ Humanities We are Mr. Johannesson's Freshman law-related gifted education class at Cholla High Magnet School in Tucson, AZ. We meet daily for two periods - one English and one humanities. Aside from the usual load of reading and writing, we do mock trials in our state-of-the-art courtroom. Our school's best known graduate is Sean Elliott of the San Antonio Spurs. The Tucson metro area has a population of 600,000 to 700,000.
