Law-Related Education Projects: State
Update your project's information
About this Section
The Project Profiles section provides a brief overview of
the Youth for Justice Law-Related Education projects in each state
plus a selection of other LRE projects. Contact information, program and product
highlights are offered, as well as links to the projects' individual websites, where
you'll find even more specific information.
Each state has a project that is affiliated with the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency
Prevention (OJJDP). States with a * next to them
have multiple (two or more) projects, one of which is the
Youth for Justice-affiliated project, and has the OJJDP logo on its page.

The Common Programs & Products section lists the nine
most frequently named LRE programs (such as "lawyer-in-the-classroom") and the
four most frequently named LRE products (such as newsletters) of the state Youth for
Justice projects. The pages indicate which state projects have each of these
programs/products and provide links to each of the project profiles of the states listed.
The Project Survey Summary contains an overview of the
results of a 1998 ABA survey of the state Youth for Justice projects. The survey gathered
information about the projects' most common programs and products, sources of funding,
relationship to the state bar association, and staffing.
