Activity Summary:

Eight law professionals were invited to speak to four law classes about their careers for a Law Day, May 1, 1997. In an informal setting in the school's library, these professionals spoke to the students at different locations in the library in four 20-minute sessions -- approximately 10-15 students at each location.

The students prepared for their visitors by creating a worksheet of possible questions about their jobs and decorated each location with white and blue (Law Day) balloons and placed flowers at each location.

They set up refreshments for the guests and then presented each guest with a "Partners in Education" certificate, a school mug, and gave them the flowers.

Following are the questions that were devised by the students.
