Equal Protection in High School Sports

Our 1999 Online Conversation featured three high school sports scenarios that raised equal protection issues, such as accommodations for players with disabilities on school sports teams, and allowing students to play on opposite-sex teams. A diverse panel of ten teenagers from Alaska to Tennessee wrote their opinions of fair outcomes to the scenarios. Students from around the country submitted their questions and comments and were answered by seven sports celebrities and legal experts.
