Mediation

Law Day is a great opportunity to teach people about how the law affects them in their everyday lives. Since family law is a topic near the top of everyone's list of high interest topics, programs on family law and mediation are a natural for Law Day.

Mediation is a tool that can lessen the hostility of divorce and provide a way for divorcing couples to communicate and focus on workable solutions. Public support for mediation is growing, and many courts offer alternative dispute resolution services or mandate mediation for cases involving children.
