Family Law

A survey of bar associations show that programs on family law for the public are much in demand. It's regrettable that divorce is so common -- the divorce rate is now half the marriage rate -- but the public understandably has many questions that lawyers can address on Law Day.

Here are some quick bullet points on divorce and related subjects, arranged by topics. Feel free to print out each topic straight from the web (or by downloading) to use as handouts, or use them to create your own flyers to share with the public.

Be sure to check out Ask-a-Lawyer programs (in Program Types and Tips) which can be used to answer questions on family law and many other topics.

You might also wish to look at Tips on Settling Parenting Issues (housed in the mediation section).
