Newspapers in Education (NIE) Features
The following four-part series, Landmark Documents of the Rule of Law, has been prepared for Law Day 2008. This 50th anniversary-year's theme is "The Rule of Law: Foundation for Communities of Opportunity and Equity."
The features are meant to engage students in legal issues, while having them research and study current events in newspapers and news media outlets. Newspapers are encouraged to download the features and make them available for teachers to use in the classrooms.
Build up to Law Day on May 1, 2008 by highlighting a feature each week in April.
