Multidisciplinary Outreach Conferences on the Rule of Law
The American Bar Association launched the World Justice Project (WJP) this year with one of its goals to "mainstream" efforts to advance the rule of law into the thinking and activities of the legal profession and other disciplines. Through its Multidisciplinary Outreach Conferences (MOCs) and analytical work, the WJP is filling the nexus between the rule of law and such important global goals as peace, reducing poverty and building economic prosperity, decreasing corruption, improving public health, and strengthening education systems. MOCs are an important component of this initiativeinternationally and domestically.
