Student Bar Association at Charlotte School of Law is Celebrating Law Day.
Charlotte School of Law ("CharlotteLaw") Student Bar Association is sponsoring its Second Annual Law Week March 16-21 following the ABA Law Day theme: The Rule of Law. Events are organized by CharlotteLaw student organizations.
- March 16th-Kick off to Law Week is a chili cook off and game day put together by the Real Estate Law Society and Black Law Student Association.
- March 16th-CharlotteLaw is sponsoring an Award and Recognition Ceremony with keynote speaker Rick Inatome, CEO Infilaw.
- March 17th-The Environmental Legal Society is showing the movie "A Civil Action".
- March 18th-The Women in Law organization has coordinated with NC Association of Women Attorneys to have a panel discussion about Creating Financial Communities of Opportunity and Equity.
- March 19th-The International Legal Society is coordinating a drop in breakfast for local attorneys and students.
- March 19th-The American Constitution Society and The Federalist Society are debating about American Healthcare.
- March 20th-Charlotte Law Diversity Alliance is creating a roundtable discussion about Diversity's Role in Charlotte's Judiciary in which local judges are participating.
- March 20th-Charlotte Law Cares has set up a Community Service Fair where deans and professors are participating in a “pie in the face” to raise canned food goods for local food bank.
- March 21st-CharlotteLaw Law Review is sponsoring an Ethics Symposium.
Barrister's Ball will be the grand finale to Law Week!
