Snohomish County is celebrating Law Day on May 1st 2007
On May 1, 2007 for a day long program the Snohomish County Bar Association will be hosting all interested students from every high school in the county to a Job Sharing Day with Superior Court Judges, Prosecutors, and Public Defenders. At noon we will be serving lunch with a panel of guest speakers that have expert knowledge of Liberty under Law: Empowering Youth, Assuring Democracy.

Boys & Girls Club of Snohomish County is celebrating Law Day on May 1st 2007
3-5 pm at Monroe Boys & Girls Club
Club members ages 6-12 present "Goldilocks v. The Three Bears - a scripted mock trial. The Bears have sued Goldilocks for Bad Manners!
Club members 13-18 have the opportunity to participate in "They Had a Dream Too" from the Young Leaders of the Civil Rights Movement curriculum. Through pictures, footage and interviews with actual participants at the time, They Had a Dream Too takes club members on a ride through the turbulent Civil Rights Movement of the 50's, 60's, and 70's.

Washington is celebrating Law Day on May 1st 2007
Greetings - the Spokane County Bar Association Law Day celebration will be held on Monday, April 30, 2007, at 12 noon at the Masonic Temple, 1108 West Riverside Avenue, Spokane, WA. Our Law Day celebration coincides with the swearing in of new citizens by U.S. Magistrate Cynthia Imbrogno. It is also the time we present the SCBA's Liberty Bell Award.
